Christmas 2014 is over, and we rang in the new year with our good friends Dale & Al Sawatzky, as well as Dale's 2 sisters and their husbands.
We are currently on the countdown to our RV trip to Arizona. Planned departure date is Jan 21st, assuming all goes well (weather-wise).
We have a new GPS system and just today installed a new RVS Digital Wireless back-up camera system on the truck with the help of Gerard's brother, Dan, and nephew, Brent. The hardest part was positioning it properly, and drilling the hole. Hooking it up to the backup light on the truck is easy.
And this is the reason we're leaving! What is not shown here is the daytime high temperature of -9 Celsius, down to -15C tonight, and the cutting wind. Time to go.
We have created a list of things to take, and a list of things to do before we go. They both keep growing! Our plan is to pick up the trailer the day before we leave, pack it up with as much as we can, park it overnight on the street near our house, then get away bright and early.

You can hardly tell it's there! They did a fine job and the image on the display is very clear. All for a case of beer (that wasn't the cost of the backup camera, by the way). Can't wait to put it to use.
