Canada Day!

Earlier today, we did shopping for company we're having on Friday, and prepping for that, as well as a few other items we picked up.

And today is Canada Day here at Rincon Country.  Well, maybe not the whole day, but we had a late afternoon get-together and potluck just for Canadians.

There were something like 120 people there.  We sat at a table with people from Alberta, BC, and one lady from London, Ont.

All the tables were decorated like this.

Or this.

This was a good part of the room.

And one of our organizers.  Fun to be greeted at the door by him and his wife.

The Canadian flag is always hanging here.

And these are provincial flags of people who have bought them for here, I suppose.  They're here all the time too.  But in addition to the BC, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia flags, there were people here from Quebec and Saskatchewan as well.

All in all, it was a fun afternoon and evening, getting to know other Canadians in this park.  One guy told us that in Yuma, from where they had just come, 70-80% of the people in the RV park were Canadian.  They said the Mexicans wanted to buy Arizona back, but the Canadians refused to sell it to them.  Haha.
