Today we thought we would go and do some shopping. Just look for a couple of things on our list. After our usual morning routine, we went off to Camping World and bought a sunscreen for our awning. The sun really beats in here in the middle of the day. (I know, I know...all you people in Ontario are saying aaaawwwww.)
The sun isn't exactly beating in here now because the pictures were taken at about 6:15 pm.
After Camping World, we found the Tucson Mall. It's just a giant shopping mall. Not exactly what we were looking for, but I found a couple of things anyway.
We then had lunch near the mall at a place called Sir Veza's. Clever take-off on the Spanish cerveza. And they served lots of different kinds of beers too. The tacos were amazing. I highly recommend it.
This is a photo of the sink in the washroom. An old tire is the basin with the taps hanging above.
And all these rear-view mirrors were above the sink...I guess serving as the main mirror. Kinda awkward.
We then went off to find a bicycle shop. We wanted a basket for my bike. We found the Ordinary Bike Shop and bought the basket. It's in a cool neighbourhood of Tucson called the Pie Allen Neighbourhood, named after a guy who sold dried apple pies to soldiers.
This picture isn't very clear, but you can tell it's a hippy neighbourhood from the past, for sure. This was a mural on a building on the corner.

Then we had to do some grocery shopping. So, 5 hours later, we were back at our RV. I think we were more exhausted from doing all this than hiking 5-6 miles!
